What evidence exists outside the Bible that the Israelites were slaves in Egypt?

Why do we have so little archeological evidence of the time spent by Israelites in Egyptian slavery? Let’s take a look. The ancient Egyptians were good at erasing evidence of past times and especially of their failures.

Also, slavery was not that important to them, like Ancient Athens which founded all the basis of democracy on a slavery foundation that was overlooked. Brooklyn papyrus – Mentions 40 Hebrew slave names in a household in Egypt. Ipuwer papyrus – mentions plagues.

Soleb temple – Built by Amenhotep III mentions “The land of the nomads of YHWH” which correlates to the Hebrews wandering in the desert for 40 years.  Merneptah Stele –  says “Canaan is captive with all woe. Israel is wasted, bare of seed”.

On the Berlin pedestal are depicted three slaves of different nationalities and one has written “from Canaan” and contains one of the oldest known references to Israel, equal to or older than the inscription in the Merneptah Stele. Scholars have posited that the Exodus may have developed from collective memories of Hyksos expulsions from Egypt, and they were a Semite population as well.
