To this day the cause of this event remains a mystery. Many theories about this event claim it was a meteorite impact, or explosion above the ground of a meteorite, a comet, or even a mini-black hole. It was so powerful that it was felt in several countries, and it caused a seismic shock that was recorded by seismographs all over the world.
